The Pilgrims Hospices in East Kent – Ann Robertson

In 1977 the hospice movement was in its infancy. Little was understood about offering care to those suffering from terminal illnesses. When Ann Robertson decided to launch the first Pilgrims Hospice in Canterbury and gathered around her a tireless band of fellow pilgrims, she had no idea that her dream would lead to two further hospices in Thanet and Ashford.

In 2007 the Pilgrims Hospices celebrated its 25th anniversary and this book tells the remarkable story of this achievement.
